Sustainable Nantwich CIC

volunteer-led network based in Nantwich

Sustainable Nantwich CIC is a volunteer-led network based in Nantwich, which aims to advance local action in response to the three main planetary crises that humanity currently faces: climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss together with the undeniable link between nature and well being.

Sustainable Nantwich is coordinated by a small group of volunteers (who are always on the lookout for more hands!) and works with many local and Cheshire wide organisations to share expertise and coordinate our actions to get the best response for the Nature (link to page).

Get Involved

Sustainable Nantwich is a friendly group of volunteers working together to promote sustainability and deliver green projects within Nantwich and the surrounding rural areas. All you need to volunteer with us is a desire to connect with likeminded individuals working towards a more sustainable future for Nantwich, Cheshire and beyond!

Join our group

a range of activities throughout the year

This is not a huge time commitment, if you could spare a few irregular hours you would be made most welcome. There are a range of  activities throughout the year such as litter picking, wildflower planting or volunteering at the festivals to encourage recycling and waste reduction, raise awareness of local initiatives, campaigns and groups.

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm, and invite a guest speaker to share their knowledge about sustainability activity, campaign or product. Past guests include Gangplank Spirits and Preserves (one of the winners of the sustainability award at the Nantwich Food Festival 2024), Thomasson Farms, and Nick Mannion, Head of Cheshire East Council.

We have lots of different projects that we are currently involved with so please send us an email if you are interested:
